JEMELUK BAY-AMED BALI
Amed is located in one of the bays in the northeast of the island of Bali. Amed was famous for its traditional fishing village and a traditional salt production. And now the salt fields where salt production is rare to found. And you can see how the process of making salt here in the dry season.

Amed location is approximately 2-3 hours from Ngurah Rai Airport. Most of the eastern coast bali is black sand. But doesn’t worry Amed have big reputation as the best diving place in Bali. Diving and snorkeling is one of the Main goals of tourists to come to this area, in addition to its natural beauty. One of the diving places in Amed is Jemeluk Bay (a little bay in Amed). The divers use traditional ship also is called Jukung to achieve it. There they can see turtles, reef sharks, and stingrays (depending on the depth of dives) as well as views of coral reefs are very beautiful.
About 10 meters from the seashore you can found Japanese patrol boat that was sunk in Second World War. The shipwreck location is perfect for snorkeling and diving.
DIVING LOCATION

Many accommodation and restaurant is found here, but don't forget bring cash money,because some hotel and restaurant doesn't accept credit card and problem if don't bring cash money, here there isn't ATM machine.

The opposite from Amed, the mount Rinjani in Lombok can be seen if clear weather, also in early morning you can see the fisherman with traditional sail boat come in and in the evening come out. So,if you would like to fishing or just go around seeing Amed and mount Agung as background. You can rent traditional boat duration two hours with negotiable prices. Many good hotel here if you will spend your holiday here, from backpacker until high budget.
